DAY 41

On the first sight you could think that you've seen these pictures already on the last post, but if you compare the two images you'll see that this is in fact the second part of the Ram Yantra an instrument in two part so that the user can go inside to make precise measurements. You can see that the tables with the marks are larger than its equivalent of yesterday. Every hollow part in one instrument corresponds to a plain part in the other, if you put them together you'll have a complete circle. As for why the parts are not the same size in both, I couldn't say, in its far larger brother instrument in Delhi both instruments have hollow parts of the same size.

I could shot 4150 pictures today from 6.00 am to 5.25 pm one more hour that yesterday, i'm not sure why but this could be related to how full the batteries where loaded, seems that yesterday the camera was not fully charged.

Once again you can see how happy i am to be able to stand on top of the instruments. The gentleman on the picture is part of the security crew that stand on the instrument near the camera until the opening hour when the monkeys doesn't dare to visit the site anymore and after the closing hour when they come back. On the picture is the stick they use to fear them away.
